Castle Rock Homes & Neighborhoods~
The Castle Rock Homes and neighborhoods are unique with each offering something special in its own right. And while ripe with many newer and custom built homes, prestigious golf courses, new community recreation facilities and family friendly neighborhoods, the community has also managed to preserve several of its historic older homes in the Town’s center and retain a large number of acreage and horse properties. Castle Rock carefully protects the history of its downtown core. Even the town’s train depot, originally built to bring the Denver & Rio Grande Railway to the community in the 1800’s, is now the home to the Castle Rock Historical Museum, where residents and visitors alike can relive the 125 year Town History.
Traditions and Events like the “Lighting of the Star” has been a community event shared by residents dating back to 1935. This town also hosts the new Starlight Movies in Downtown in Festival Park where families or couples can enjoy a night on the lawn and enjoy a movie under the stars. With the annual Rodeo, County Fair, Winefest and Artfest Events, the community is dedicated to fostering a sense of community and enhancing its community character and that makes it a wonderful place to call home.
